South Food and Wine Bar recession special: $34 prix fixe, 3 course dinner 6 November 08

*UPDATE: South has closed. It will reopen in a few months under a different name, with a different formula.
One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco, South Food and Wine Bar, is offering a recession special: three-course prix fixe menu for $24 (lunch) and $34 (dinner), including one glass of bubbly — at lunch time too. The offer is good on Thursdays, until the end of November. Read my earlier review of South.
