Hotel The Black: Antwerp's new elegant address
Antwerp, Belgium is a city that, despite being off the beaten track, is filled with marvelous boutique hotels and chic B&Bs. Perhaps it’s because the city is the fashion and design capital of Belgium. A new hotel on the map is The Black, located in the trendy southern part of the city (Antwerp-Zuid). The owner, Kim Soeffers, is an interior stylist. She bought the building and renovated it to create an intimate guest house with a sexy attitude. In near future, Kim plans to open a new guest house with four small apartments done up in the same style as the hotel. This would allow guests to rent a place for a week or longer.
The Black has three rooms which cost between 125 EUR and 175 EUR (breakfast included). There’s free Wi-Fi and luxurious bath products from Hermès.
