If you are planning a trip to Istanbul, I recommend that you stay in either the Cihangir or Beyoglu district, not in Sultanahmet (too many tourists, cheap hotels and fast food joints). I already recommended the Witt Istanbul Suites and now I will add this one: TomTom Suites. It is close to the Witt and even closer to the lively restaurants and bars of Beyoglu.

The hotel has 20 spacious suites: 9 deluxe, 5 junior, and 5 senior suites, and 1 executive suite (shown below).

Every suite is furnished with custom made furniture and the architectural features of the building are preserved through high ceilings and solid wooden floors. The bathrooms paved with Carrara marble are modern interpretations of traditional Turkish baths. Each bathroom has a jacuzzi, floor heating, skin care products, specially woven towels and bathrobes. TomTom has a outside terrace with sweeping views of Istanbul (see below) and a bistro.
