If you are planning a major shopping trip to Paris and expect to spend a lot of time exploring the impressive grands magasins of the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, consider staying at the Hotel WO (for Wilson Opera), a new boutique hotel located on a quiet street just a short distance away. This is very useful when dragging giant shopping bags back from the Printemps or the Galeries Lafayette (note: make sure you see the Brasserie Printemps, a beautiful restaurant situated beneath a glass dome at the top of the Printemps). The Hotel WO is also only one block from the Gare Saint Lazare train station and ten minutes from the Champs Elysees and the Madeleine.
They have three types of rooms: classic (shown above), superior, and deluxe. Although the rooms are small, they’re decorated in a warm, cozy style and they have free Wi-Fi. Prices start at 145 EUR per night for a double room. Since the hotel has just opened its doors, they have a special “opening” promotion which starts at 128 EUR per night. These are amazing deals for Paris, and especially for the location.
