Mapplr is a travel website featuring luxury boutique hotels and travel guides with a focus on fast-growing emerging markets (China, India, Brazil, Russia, Southeast Asia). Our readers are primarily urban, style-conscious people who are looking for unique places to stay during their travels worldwide. Our editors carefully screen locations and list only a handful of selected hotels in a city, so you are not overwhelmed by too much information. Mapplr also publishes travel guides on selected destinations, restaurant reviews and updates on air and rail travel, special deals and more.
The founders of Mapplr are Esme Vos and Arnon Kohavi, seasoned travelers who have visited more than 41 countries. Esme was the co-founder of Weekendhotel.nl and Weekendhotel.be, the premier boutique hotel and luxury B&B websites in the Netherlands and Belgium.
