A new luxurious hotel in Miami Beach is opening in October 2010: the Soho Beach House which will be located in the historic Sovereign hotel.  The Soho Beach House is unlike any other hotel in Miami Beach. It is the creation of  Nick Jones, founder of the Soho House, a private club in London.  He has created a private members club attached to a hotel that has 50 rooms, a screening snug, two pools, a beach club, as well as an expansive Cowshed spa and a Cecconi’s restaurant open to non-members. The Cowshed spa has a gym overlooking the beach and offers Pilates and yoga classes. Cecconi’s serves Italian food.

Room rates start at around $600, which is steep, but Jones wants to keep the hotel very exclusive and selective, and he wants to convert guests into members. If you want to stay in a luxurious, intimate boutique hotel on the beach in Miami, the Soho Beach House is the place to stay.
